Long Service Life Magnesia Carbon Brick

Product introduction of magnesia carbon brick

Magnesia carbon brick has a high melting point due to its composition of magnesium oxide and carbon, both with a high melting point, and the two components are not solidly fused with each other, so the magnesia carbon brick has a high melting resistance.

Features of magnesia carbon brick

Magnesia carbon brick has good high temperature resistance, strong slag resistance, good thermal shock resistance, also has good creep thermal state resistance, magnesia carbon brick and other ceramic bonded bricks, compared to showing particularly good resistance to change performance.

Applications of magnesia carbon brick

Magnesia carbon bricks are used in ladle furnaces and refining ladles, mainly in compensation and slag lines and other parts. Depending on the operating conditions, the refractories used in these parts must be resistant to high temperatures, thermal shocks and mechanical corrosion caused by waste erosion. In the past these parts chose magnesia chrome refractory, but in view of environmental pollution from chromium, its dosage has been reduced and now magnesia carbon bricks are chosen.
