Brief introduction of lightweight silica insulation brick
The light weight silica insluation brick is made of quartzite material with SiO2 content of about 91%, which has good acid slag resistance and low thermal conductivity. SiO2 has different types of crystals at different temperatures, and the transformation between crystals will lead to changes in structure and density. Therefore, the change of silica crystal is closely related to the properties and uses of silica bricks.
Advantages of silica insulation brick
The thermal conductivity is only half that of ordinary silicon insulation brick. Thermal shock resistance is also very good. The load softening temperature can reach 1600℃, much higher than that of lightweight clay bricks. Therefore, the highest service temperature of light silicon brick can reach 1550℃. It will not shrink at high temperatures and will even expand slightly.
