Laying of anchor fire bricks in cement thermal equipment

High alumina anchor brick plays an important role in building the straight wall, which can improve the integrity of the straight wall. Anchor bricks are mainly made of high alumina and clay. During the expansion and contraction of the metal shell of the equipment, there will be a gap between the metal shell and the refractory material. The powdery material may be gradually filled through the gap of the refractory brick, which will eventually lead to the collapse of the straight wall under the force perpendicular to the wall. During the heating process of the equipment, the refractory brick may also collapse due to uneven internal and external expansion.

High Alumina Anchoring Bricks

High aluminum anchor bricks produced by Kerui refractory can be customized

The use of anchor bricks can greatly reduce the probability of two adverse changes. The layout and masonry of anchor bricks shall follow the following principles:

The arrangement of anchor bricks shall be determined according to the change range and frequency of temperature and the size of the area of the straight wall, which shall not be less than 6 pieces /m2.

Before masonry, the anchor bricks must be carefully checked. If there are cracks at the anchor hole that affect the overall strength of the anchor bricks, they cannot be used and shall be resolutely discarded.

When the masonry is close to the position of the anchor bricks, the bricks shall be arranged in advance to determine the accurate position of the anchor bricks. The welding position of the metal shell shall be thoroughly cleaned with a steel wire brush, and the welding rod suitable for the welding parts shall be used to firmly weld the anchor pipe.

After the anchor bricks are laid, insert the anchor hook, fill it with fire-resistant fiber felt and plug it tightly to form a certain protection for the anchor.

There are certain requirements for the thickness of anchor pipe. When the pipe wall is too thin, it will cause early damage due to inevitable slow burning. The heat-resistant steel material of the anchor hook shall be determined according to the industrial and mining temperature of the location. The heat-resistant steels of anchor hooks commonly used in the cement industry include Cr18Ni9Ti, cr25ni18, cr25ni20, etc.
